I spent way too much money on my surgery to come home and sit on one of those horrible gray recovery pillows from Amazon. This is exactly what I was looking for. Supportive, simple, and doesn't make my bedroom look like a hospital.

My surgeon was VERY specific about how I needed to sit and I was getting tired of building a little throne out of couch pillows every day lol. This just makes it easier.

Firmer than I expected at first. I actually thought I wasn't going to like it, but after using it for a few days I get why. It doesn't flatten out underneath you like a normal pillow.

I almost didn't buy it because I kept thinking, do I really need an expensive pillow for six weeks? The answer was apparently yes because I basically lived on this thing.

Literally the only recovery thing I bought that isn't hideous.

Took me a night or two to figure out the most comfortable position but now I use it constantly. On the bed, sofa, even on the floor when I'm watching tv.

My recovery nurse saw it when she came over and immediately asked where I got it. That pretty much says it all.

It's nice and definitely better looking than the other options. I just wish it was a little softer. I know its supposed to be supportive but personally took some getting used to.

If you're getting a BBL just get it. I tried doing the regular pillows thing for 3 days and it was so annoying constantly fixing everything everytime I got up.

Honestly one of those purchases you don't really understand until you're recovering. You're sitting and sleeping differently for WEEKS. Having something made specifically for that instead of improvising made a huge difference for me.

Really well made. I knocked off one star because it's bigger than I pictured from the photos, but that's probably part of why it feels so stable.

I am extremely particular about what comes into my apartment and every post surgery product I found looked so medical or cheap. Flume actually looks intentional. It sounds superficial until you're staring at these things in your bedroom for a month straight.

Had a tummy tuck and breast lift at the same time and getting comfortable was easily one of the hardest parts of the first week. This gave me one less thing to think about.

Used it way more than expected. I thought this would be mostly for sleeping but I ended up moving it between my bed and couch all day. Would love a second cover option.

Whoever made this clearly understands that recovering from plastic surgery does not mean I suddenly want my house full of ugly medical equipment. thank you!!!

Good quality and looks great. For the price I was expecting it to feel a little more luxurious though. Functionally it does what I bought it for and has held up well.

My favorite thing about it is honestly that I can leave it on my bed. Doesn't scream 'I just had surgery' when someone comes over.

Ordered this at like 2am during my pre surgery panic shopping 😂 turned out to be one of the things I actually needed.

Very supportive without feeling like you're sitting on a piece of foam. I do wish the dimensions were a little clearer online because it was larger than expected. Otherwise really happy with it.

My surgeon gave me a whole list of positions I could and couldn't be in and I was so nervous about messing something up. This made following those instructions feel much more straightforward.

Survived my entire recovery, countless naps, snacks, Netflix and my dog trying to steal it. Still looks new. 10/10.

I wish I had this from day one instead of ordering after surgery. The first few nights with random pillows stacked everywhere were miserable.

The fabric is what sold me. So many recovery products use that weird fuzzy polyester material that gets hot immediately. This feels much more like something I'd normally have at home.

I like it, don't LOVE it. It definitely keeps me positioned better and the quality is good. I just think it's a bit expensive for something I'm only going to use during recovery.

I'm technically done needing it and haven't put it away. It's just a genuinely nice bolster/pillow now. That made the price feel much more reasonable to me.

It stays put much better than the pillow setup I had before. Only complaint is I wish there was a smaller version for traveling because I had to bring it to my parents house and it took up half my backseat.

Recovery is already uncomfortable enough. I did not want to spend it surrounded by black foam wedges and disposable pads. This was such a small thing but made my room feel normal.

Bought a cheaper pillow first. It collapsed within a week. Should've just bought this one from the beginning.

Was skeptical about the firmness when I unboxed it. Give it a few days!! Once I figured out where I needed it positioned it was great.

I researched literally everything before my surgery and somehow the recovery setup was the part I underestimated. Your environment matters when you're home this much. Flume made mine feel considerably less depressing.

No weird smell out of the package, cover feels good, doesn't slide around and actually holds its shape. Checks all my boxes.

I used mine after my breast augmentation mostly for sleeping and reading in bed. Took a little experimenting to get the angle right for me but once I did it was perfect.

This should honestly be on surgeons' recommended packing lists.

Maybe my expectations were too high because of the price. It's a very nice product and I use it everyday, but at the end of the day it is still a recovery pillow. Giving 3 stars mostly on value.

I had rhinoplasty and was terrified I would roll onto my side in my sleep. Being able to set myself up in a position that actually felt secure helped so much, especially those first couple nights.

The best way I can describe it is it feels like home furniture, not medical equipment. I just wish the cover was machine dryable because I've washed it a lot.

Had my facelift 2 weeks ago and this has basically not left my bed. I was supposed to stay elevated and regular pillows kept moving overnight. So much better.

Beautifully made. Even my husband commented on it which is saying something because he notices absolutely nothing in our house 😂

Good support and feels very sturdy. I would probably recommend getting it delivered a week or two before surgery so you can test different positions beforehand. I waited until the last minute.

If you are currently making a giant nest of six bed pillows every night... this is your sign.

I was weirdly emotional the first week after surgery and hated feeling like a patient in my own apartment. Having recovery things that looked like MY things helped more than I would've expected.

Very good quality. Doesn't compress too much and the cover has held up through multiple washes. Would give 5 stars if there were more sizes.

I dont normally leave reviews but this saved me from rearranging pillows 800 times a day. worth it

Nice product, nice packaging, works well. I think whether it's worth the price really depends on how long your surgeon has you using it. Mine only had me in this position for a few weeks.

Really thoughtful product. The shape makes much more sense once you're actually using it. I initially thought it looked too firm but regular down pillows were basically useless for keeping me elevated.

There are already so many indignities involved in recovering from surgery lol. At least my pillow doesn't look like it came from a medical catalog.

My sister had surgery last year and gave me her old foam wedge. I lasted one night before ordering this. Night and day difference, especially the material.

Four stars only because I think the price will be a hurdle for some people. But if you've already budgeted thousands for surgery, I personally think it's worth budgeting for the recovery too. I used mine every single day.
